Terms and conditions

Last updated: 1 May 2026

These Terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sunrise Anticheat and related websites, dashboards, APIs, documentation, and distribution mechanisms we provide (the “Service”). The Service is offered to individuals and organizations that operate or support online game servers and need tooling to distribute protected client bundles, configure projects, and manage subscription tiers (including Free and Premium) and related features.

By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Sunrise Anticheat provides cloud-hosted software and materials that may include:

  • Project and organization management, roles, and invitations
  • Configuration and release workflows for protection bundles made available to your projects
  • Tier and subscription features (such as Free and Premium), including where applicable credit-based renewal or extension mechanisms described in the product
  • Documentation, downloads, and APIs we make available from time to time

We may update, add, or retire features. We will try to give reasonable notice for material adverse changes where practicable.

No affiliation. Sunrise Anticheat is not endorsed by or affiliated with game publishers or trademark owners. You are solely responsible for compliance with third-party terms, licenses, and laws that apply to your game, server, and community.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for:

  • Safeguarding credentials and any API keys
  • All activity under your account
  • Ensuring that invited users comply with these Terms

We may suspend or terminate accounts that present security risk, abuse the Service, or violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other customers’ data, or our systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent technical measures except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law
  • Use the Service to distribute malware, conduct attacks, or harass others
  • Scrape, overload, or automate access to the Service in a way that impairs stability
  • Misrepresent affiliation with Sunrise Anticheat or game publishers
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement, except as expressly allowed for your own projects under your subscription

We may investigate and remove content or suspend access where we reasonably believe these rules are violated.

4. Your content and configurations

You retain rights to data and materials you submit (“Customer Data”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data only as needed to provide and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Customer Data and that doing so does not violate others’ rights.

5. Our intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, documentation, and our proprietary materials, is owned by us and our licensors. Except for the limited rights to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted. You may not remove proprietary notices.

Open-source components, if any, are governed by their respective licenses as indicated in the product or repository.

6. Subscriptions, fees, and taxes

Paid plans (such as Premium), billing cycles, and any virtual credits or renewal mechanisms are described at checkout and in the product. By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge applicable fees and taxes.

  • Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase.
  • We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes typically apply to the next renewal.
  • Failure to pay may result in downgrade, suspension, or loss of paid features when the paid period ends, as described in the product.

7. Protection bundles and third-party environments

Protection bundles and client-side components are provided as part of the Service subject to these Terms and product documentation. You acknowledge that:

  • Effectiveness depends on correct installation, configuration, and game-specific factors outside our control.
  • We do not warrant that your environment will be free of cheating, bots, or abuse.
  • You use such materials at your own risk as between you and your players; you are responsible for player-facing notices and compliance with applicable consumer and gaming rules.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those cases, our warranties are limited to the minimum required by law.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
  • OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FEES.

These limits do not apply where prohibited by law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, and employees against third-party claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Customer Data, your game server or community operations, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

11. Suspension and termination

Either party may terminate these Terms if the other materially breaches and fails to cure within thirty (30) days of written notice (if cure is possible). We may suspend access immediately where necessary to prevent harm, meet legal obligations, or address security issues.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete Customer Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retention practices. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. liability limits, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version and changing the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (e.g. email or in-product). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the legal entity operating Sunrise Anticheat has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive subject-matter jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise or you benefit from mandatory consumer protections in your country that cannot be waived.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may also have the right to use alternative dispute resolution or courts in your country of residence where such rights cannot be contractually waived.

14. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and policies referenced herein (including the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Severability. If a provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
  • Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our reasonable control.

15. Contact

For questions about these Terms, use the contact method published on our website or in the product.

These Terms are a practical template for a B2B / operator-focused SaaS. Have them reviewed by qualified legal counsel for your company, payment flows, and jurisdictions.
